Kept the whole app online even when a server goes down.
Split a Next.js monolith into six independent services on Kubernetes (MicroK8s + Traefik), each with its own PostgreSQL database, plus a Redis cache over stunnel TLS and a mediasoup media server run outside the cluster for WebRTC. Each service was kill-tested in turn - only its own endpoint fails, the app never goes down.
